Philippine Airlines introduces its PAL Mobile sitewww.philippineairlines.mobi -- an interactive website designed to connect you to us while you are on the go! 


Our mobile site gives you more flexibility and convenience. With your web-enabled mobile phone, Blackberry or PDA, you can check the latest arrival and departure times, check flight schedules, latest information about Mabuhay Miles, and know more about our latest news and promos.

Why do the images/texts appear too small or too large? 
The mobile site supports a base resolution of 240x320. Pages are also viewable in smaller screens; however, the quality of the image may vary. You may need to adjust your zoom setting to reduce or enlarge the image or text size. Refer to your phone manual to do this.


How long does it take to load/display the page?
The type of mobile phone and connection affects the time to download information to the mobile phone. The download speed varies based on the speed of wireless connection and the speed that the phone supports.


Is PAL Mobile available from any type of mobile device?
The mobile site is available from any mobile device that can connect to the internet through GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA or WiFi connection.


My phone supports GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA. What does this mean?
GPRS, EDGE, 3G and HSPDA are the results of evolution in mobile telephony communications protocol to improve the data transfer speed and capacity. The download speed of the mobile phone will depend on the connection speed the mobile cell site offers, whether GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDA or otherwise. 

My mobile browser exits whenever I click a link within the site. What is wrong? 
You may need to use a different mobile browser supported by your device or check the mobile internet gateway setting of your device.


What is WiFi?
Wi-Fi is a trademark of Wi-Fi Alliance for products based on wireless local area network communication but it is usually used by the public synonymous to wireless LAN (WLAN). Wi-Fi enabled device such us mobile phone or PDA can connect to the internet through a wireless network connected to the internet.


Am I charged when I access the mobile site?
The mobile carrier or Wi-Fi hotspot may charge you when accessing any site through the GPRS connection or access point depending on your subscription plan. Philippine-based carriers usually charge customers P5 or P10 per 15- or 30-minute browsing. Check with your mobile operator or hotspot provider the pricing schedule.


My mobile phone supports GPRS or 3G but why can’t I connect to the internet?
You may need to download the correct GPRS/3G setting from your mobile carrier to be able to connect to the internet. Please contact your mobile carrier for more information.
